“Balloon Man” artist: Dana Kimmell

C.H.I.L.L. is an acronym that stands for create, heal, inspire, learn, and love due to the desire for this studio to be a haven for learning and healing through creating. As an educator, I know that the arts give children a place for self-expression, which develops their self-confidence, critical thinking, empathy and much more. Art broadens our minds and creates a more global society by reminding us that we are not alone and that we all have a story to tell. I have witnessed so much healing and connecting through teaching and want to spread this gift to my community. I want all ages and socio economical groups to discover or rediscover the magic of imagination and creation. My hope is to remind others that we all deserve and need the same things, we are all equal and all have a story to tell, and that we all need a safe space to release and discover our inner spirit. Art is a universal language and through it we can all connect. I believe that we all have an impact on this planet and each other and the arts help us continue to grow in ways of passion and compassion, self-confidence and empathy, communication and connection.
